Samuel was the superintendent of the orphanage.He was on this post for last many years.He was a very rough man by nature,he was unmarried,and his age was about 40 years.He had no love and affection in his heart for the orphan children.He was very cruel to them and no body in the staff dared to oppose him.There were forty children { Boys} of different age present at that time in the institution.They were from different areas of the state.Samuel used to think that he was maintaining the discipline of the institution,but the children need love and affection as well.All the children were bringing up there in such atmosphere was not at all good for them,they could not talk loud,laugh loud,wake up early in the morning at 4 study two hours,at 6 they had to clean their rooms,bath rooms,even toilets,then after bath and breakfast they had to reach school on time.The school was also in the campus of orphanage.The children had have no entertainment in their lives.
The teachers of the school were also doing their duties only,they never became personal to the children and never shared their problems.A new teacher was transferred to that school and joined.His name was Nicolas.He was young,tall and handsome man.He was also unmarried,but very kind hearted man.Very soon he made a special place in every child’s heart.Nicolas came to know about Samuel’s nature.Children shared this.He already had met Samuel at the time of joining,and realized that he was very dry and rude by nature.and exactly opposite of his nature.He wanted to do something regarding this.He decided to display a drama on the stage at the very special day of the school.He selected some talented children to act in the drama.The base line of the drama was about a cruel king,he was treating his people as slaves,but his son the prince was a very kind man,he did not like his father’s activities,and used to make people understand about their rights,one day all the people revolted,they tied the king in chains,the king then regretted and promised he will never do the same again,People untied him,and then he became a good king.The effect of the drama was so good that Samuel changed completely,now he became very friendly to all the children.
