Drought & Rain---
Princess Saudamini was ruling there.It was not a very big state.After her father’s loss people decided to crown her instead of her only cousin durjan Singh.He was not worth it,he was in thr grip of many bad habits and not at all a good and sincere man.Saudamini used to be with her father in his life time and helped him solving the state concerning problems so it was not new for her.Though Durjan Singh started creating problems for her but
she was handling them tactfully. Actually ,whenever he was short of money he started saying,”I am the real successor of the throne ,you are a girl and girls have no right to sit on the Throne.”At that time Saudamini never argued and asked him to solve some big and tough problem of the state and then he used to say ,”I can do it but you are doing it better,You are my sister and am always there with you”Saudamini knew his weaknesses and she fulfilled his money demands,they were not quite big for her.”

It did not rain this year and the Sun was pouring fire from the sky.All the crops were burnt in sun ,rivers ponds and even wells getting dried .People were in miserable conditions,Animals were dying of hunger and thirst.Saudamini was giving fixed quota of water and grain to each person from the palace but it was not the remedy ,At the time of such situation Durjan Singh ran away to faraway state.Saudamini called the Royal Priests and asked to tell her about the forecast ,they said ,”No,Only Pray to GOD” Saudamini went to the temple of the Palace and closed her eyes in front of the GOD’S Idol,She was there for next seven days,without even drinking a drop of water,all people of the capital were around her praying ,people from far away parts were also coming to see her, {Doctors}Vaidya were checking her and keeping eye on her health.At 8th day suddenly black clouds viewed and it started raining,People were happy ,dancing in the rain.Princess was taken to the Palace for proper treatment.She was fine after a couple of days.People now started loving her more respecting her more.
