Prince Rajshekhar was now 20 years.He was taught in the palace all subjects and skills by the specialists.Prime Minister’s Son Vidyadhar was his only friend,he was also very intelligent and loyal to the Royal family like his father. Prime Minister also provided a small Palace to live inside the Primices.King Yogendra Pratap and his Prime Minister Satyendra were also very friendly and doing good work together.Their people were happy with the governance and they had have no complaints.Now both of them were getting old and above 65 ,so they had dicided to crown Prince Rajshekhar but
before that they wanted them to go out for at least two months together and see the world and solve the problems occur.They were happy and started their journey.When they came out of the Palace,Vidyadhar heard one Female bird was saying to another Male bird,”Oh ! Poor Prince ! he is going to die very soon.””How?”asked the other one,”When they will cross the state through big gate it will collapse and he will die immediately”{Vidyadhar was blessed with the skill by a saint to understand the birds animals and reptiles languages ,but he was warned by the Saint not to tell about it to any body other wise he will not be able to avail this skill}.He immediately turned his horse towards the small gate exactly opposite of the big gate.They safely crossed the state.They were riding their horses and now crossing a big jungle,It was quite dark and they decided to stay there for the night.Vidyadhar made a good sleeping place for the Prince by spreading heap of straw laying there.He said,”You sleep without any tension I am guarding.”Prince slept and Vidyadhar was sitting alert near him.In the mid night he suddenly saw the bright light he followed and found a sparkling Mani there,He picked it up and kept in his pocket immediately after that he heard Snake’s hiss,A long and huge snake arrived there with anger,Vidyadhar knew his language so he gave him back his mani and asked him to tell something about his Prince,The snake said,”Four dangerous thieves have robbed a Rich man of the town near by,they know about your journey and they are ordered to kill your Prince by this state’s king,Vidyadhar asked him,”Can you help us”Snake nodded his head ,he went quickly ,He saw the robbers coming,he did his work all the robbers fell and died by snake bite,Vidyadhar thanked him,In the morning the Prince woke up fresh,they moved ahead,they were riding still in the jungle and could not find any village or town again it was night and they were just thinking what to do while suddenly they saw a small hut in lantern’s light hanging out side.They reached there ,a cage was also hanging there ,a parrot was in it,he said,”Don’t go in she is a Witch I was also a Prince of nearby state now a bad man captured my throne with her help,they want to make you also a bird or animal ,Vidyadhar thanked him in his language,he got surprised and now was hopeful about his rescue,he guided him what to do,He also said that her all magic in her wand and if some one brakes it all the things and birds will get their original existence .They knocked the door,an old lady opened it,she was a witch and was

Expecting them.There were many birds in cages there.She welcomed Prince and Vidyadhar after some time she gave them food it was ok,they ate it,he asked the Prince to go and sleep in the bed room,the bed was just a hollow frame with bed sheet on a blind well with lots of snakes and scorpions ,Vidyadhar asked the prince to wait ,he went in,he saw some bamboos there he arranged them on the cot and made a good bed there to sleep.Prince went to sleep,she gave coffee to Vidyadhar with some drousy medicine,he did not drink it ,threw and pretended as if sleeping,she then went in and tied a thread in Prince’s foot she then started murmuring some magical words,Vidyadhar immediately untied the thread from Prince’s foot and threw it in the well outside.She was surprised why her magic failed,but she was not worried so went inside to sleep.Vidyadhar ,in the midnight went there,he saw the magic wand ,he quickly picked it up and broke it.He was expecting some thing to happen,and yes ! he heard a sharp sound behind,he saw ,instead of witch,it was an ugly looking huge bird,it flapped its wide wings and fly out high in the sky from the window.Vidyadhar heard some people talking,he came out of the room,about 20 persons are coming,Prince Rajshekhar was also among them,He was surprised what was going on.Vidyadhar said ,I will tell you this story some other day,Let’s go now.They all agreed,every one was happy and thanking Vidyadhar for rescue.They all did not forget to burn the hut before going.
