Akbar-Birbal—22.
One day one of the neighbouring state
sent three questions to Akbar for Birbal to answer.
1.How many stars are there in the Sky
?
2.Where is the Centre of the earth ?
3.How many Men and How many Women are
there in the World ?
1.Birbal brought a Sheep and said,”There
are as many stars in the sky as there is hair on this sheep’s body.
2.Birbal drew a couple of lines and
fixed an iron rod in the middle of it saying this is centre of the earth,the
courtier may measure if there is doubt.
3.Counting exact number of Men and
Women is tough because,to classify them is tough as some courtiers here.
