Gopal Chandra Mukherjee was living in Kolkata which was Calcutta at that time,had Quite healthy physic,used to wear big glasses,and above all he was known as a Matriculate,in {1930}.He had two wives {Which was not quite un- common at that time}My mother Mrs.Leela Perlekar{known as Leela Banerjee, Before marriage}She was just five years old at that time.She remembers “A long journey by car to Gwalior,and there,they met a tall and healthy woman”She was Gopal Chandra Mukherjee’s first wife.His second wife’s name was Sharyu,a beautiful lady,fair,sharp features and medium height.Her first daughter was Hemlata,my grand
