Long Long ago,There was a state name Sujan garh in Rajasthan.King Shikhar Singh was the King of that state.His father died early so he became King in quite early age.he was brave,so he increased boundaries of his state,many small states are now under his state.One day he thought,”In my early young age,within very little period of time,I have won many states,those kings not only pay taxes to me but immediately present in front of me while called”This thought made him very Proud,he thought he was the best,but Kishan Garh’s KingSuraj did not like Shikhar Singh’s this proud.ShikharSingh’s Spies informed him that Suraj Singh is provoking other Kings who have surrender to Shikhar Singh,for Mutiny,How could Shikhar Singh tolerate this,he decided to attack on Suraj Singh’s State.
One day Shikhar Singh went for hunt,It was noon,Following the hunt he had reached quite far away from his men.He was thirsty,hungry.He saw a hut,A Sadhu{saint}was sitting under a tree,outside the hut,ShikharSingh said”Give me water,I am thirsty”But The Sadhu did not React,The King got angry,and he ordered with anger”Are you listening ?Go,and get some water for me”But the Sadhu did not open his eyes”Now The King lost his Temper.He said”If you are not following my order,I am going to kill you.”He put the sword on his neck and again said”Get up and bring some water”Now the Sadhu opened his eyes and said with anger”I don’t know who are you,but you have very proud on your sword””Yes,I am King Shikhar Singh,and all the states around ,know about my bravery””You may be any body,but you have disturbed my hard Prayers{Tapasya},water is kept inside the hut ,go and get it”ShikharSingh does not bring water and for himself”Now The Sadhu’s eyes started burning with anger”He said you are a nonreligious man,I curse you,whenever you attack your enemies with these weapons,you will lose your aims”ShikharSingh laughed loudly,and went away,after some time he saw a Lion,he aimed him and threw his arrow,but he lost the aim,he used all his arrows but failed,then he rode his horse towards the Lion,and tried to kill the Lion with Sword,but his Sword broke in to two parts,he remembered the Sadhu’s curse,he went running,fell down in his feet and said”I am sorry,I have done a big mistake,Please forgive me and take back your curse”The Sadhu said”I am a simple Sadhu,you are a big King,how could I help you”The King said”I accept,my proud made me blind,Please save me “Now The Sadhu felt pity on him,he said”There is only one way to get rid of my curse.Your defeat is definite ,if your enemy leaves you,then only you can be free from my curse.”Listening this,he went back to Sujan Garh.Day and night only one thought made him disturbed.He stopped taking interest in his own Royal work.One day his army commander said”Our Spies are suggesting us that this is the best time to attack on KishanGarh,It is very necessary also to defeat him.because he is continuously provoking the Kings already had surrendered.”Hearing Commander’s words.Shikhar Singh,got scared of his own death as a loser,but he could not tell this to the commander and ordered him for the war.Next day his Army attacked,A great war started from both the sides,King Shikhar could not kill even a single man,Seeing this,his army men lost all hopes,King Suraj,hurt King Shikhar,tied him ,and took him with himself to SujanGarh.Seeing his own army running back from the battle field,King Shikhar was feeling very bad.He snatched a sword and tried to commit suicide “Suraj Singh saw this and said Caward people commit suicide,if you want to win any body then win him with love,friendship and affection,so lets hug each other and be good friends”They hugged and became friends,Shikhar Singh came out of that curse.He set all the kings free.
