This story belongs to India.Long long ago there was a famous king in Ujjayani {Now it is called Ujjain}The King’s name was Vikrmaditya and he was famous for his justice.He did all works for the welfare of his people.People loved him very much.
After many long years of Vikramaditya,there was an another king ruling that Kingdom.In his kingdom,means in Ujjayani,there was a small village.Some shepherd children used to take the cattle to the forest for grazing in the morning and come back in the evening.
It was quite a long time period,so after having lunch they started playing.They used to play a game,in which one boy used to sit on a dune,becomes the Judge,other boys bring different types of cases like,theft ,robbery,snatching lands,animals or other types of crimes,and all the clients used to get satisfied after the judgements.
It was the only favourite game of those children.Each child used to describe about it to his parents in the evening.People started going to the children for their small disputes and went back satisfied.They thought,it is a very long process in King’s court to get justice so slowly they stopped going there.This news spread and reached the king,he called the minister and discussed about the matter.They decided to dig the Dune,so next morning with some labourers minister went there and they found a throne under that Dune,It was brought to the Palace,got cleaned,It was a very beautiful throne,Instead of legs there were thirty two fairies holding the seat on their shoulders.It was kept in a room near King’s bedroom.King could not sleep,so he got up and went to that room,He was thinking”I will sit on this throne tomorrow”and immediately he heard a sound”You can not sit on this Throne?It was one of those fairies,The King asked why?Why can’t I if a shepherd boy can sit?The fairy said”Your heart is not as pure as that child’s”She told a story about Vikramaditya’s justice and then Fairy flew up in the sky.Next night again the same thing happened,and this way thirty one fairies flew up in the sky.On the day thirty two,King again went to the room and thought the same thing,the last fairy also told him the story of Vikramaditya’s Justice and said”You can not sit on it,It is the judgement seat of Vikramaditya,and you are not the right person to sit on it,the shepherd could sit on it because his heart is pure and your heart is not as pure as his heart,and she flew up in the sky with the Throne.
