A prize distribution ceremony was going on in Rajhans Society and All the children were getting prizes who passed their board examination with good ranks.The Program was going on in the garden. All the parents and children were sitting on the chairs.Chief guest and the Chief Secretary Satish Mehta with the other elected society members were sitting on the stage.
Malti was a cleaning lady and was working in Mrs. Tanya Chandra's flat,She came to the society with her eight-year daughter Aashi. She asked her to sit on one chair,Aashi was suffering from fever and so Malti said she will take her to the hospital after finishing her work.When she came down she didn't see Aashi there,She searched here and there but couldn't find her.She asked every one,as the celebration was over,no one knew about her.Malti was very much worried and started weeping. Secretary Satish Mehta called the Police.
Dora Rohan and the Police team reached there.They started hard search in each flat. The guard came running and said that Aashi is laying hurt at the terrace. All the Policemen Dora and Rohan rushed towards the terrace.Aashi was laying there hurt,some one physically assaulted her. An ambulance was called and she was sent to the hospital.
Finding the criminal was a very tough work.At first Dora called the guard and asked ," How terrace door was opened ?He said ," I used to open it to see the Tank was full or not ,Its my duty to fill the tank every morning.This morning I came here but that time water supply was not on and I went down stairs leaving the door opened,Then I got busy with the function arrangements and forgot about this door.
Dora started asking each and every member of each flat.There were 32 flats in the building.She then went to the CCTV recording room and saw the footage of each floor.She saw a man walking towards the terrace,with Aashi,It was the time when the celebration was going on,why the man was not attending the function and what for he is going at the terrace.
Dora inquired about him and reached flat no. 27 ,It was Mr. Mahesh Diwecha and Mrs.Madhwi Diwecha were living with their Mentally retarded son Somesh Diwecha. Dora recognised it was Somesh who was going upstairs. She started talking to him in front of his parents,and he said "Yes,I went there." "When did Aashi reach there ?""He said ," I told her there is a big box full of chocolates is kept at the terrace" "Did you hit her ?" He kept silent fot a couple of minutes then said," She became angry and said "You are a lier" I got angry and I hit her,she was shouting,when I saw blood I came downstairs." He didn't hide any thing he was arrested and taken to the police station. Court ordered to send him to mental asylum first.
