Though Geeta Devi was very formal to both the families upstairs and the only family.A Sweets box was sent to them individually. They insisted to do a “ Munh dikhai “ function for new daughter in law but Geeta Devi described the robbery on the way in short and all the ladies moved away whispering together. Actually it was not a good sign that at the first arrival of daughter in law brings so unpleasant thing in family. All the ladies then never tried to talk to Vineeta and also ask their children to stay away from her.This way Vineeta was all alone here like a full time servant.One day the family received a letter after two months of that incident that the Police has arrested three Robbers and the complete family need to come and identify them on such and such date. Now they had to plan for visiting the Police station and then to their own village. Heera Devi also came to know this and she asked Pundit Vallabh Shastri to write a letter to Shrilal and Savitri so that they can come to the village and meet their daughter.Shrilal and Savitri were spending sleepless nights and restless days because of the worries of both the daughters.
