Mahesh Asthana had to sleep there in the night as attendant so in the evening Suraj again brought packed food from outside Dhaba and gave to father and then went back. Vineeta was waiting for him. Suraj was hungry , both of them had have their dinner . During dinner no one talked to each other . Brains were working on different aspects of the situation. After dinner Suraj said to Vineeta “ I need to go back to Lucknow day after tomorrow because I am on leave and I do a responsible job.” Vineeta’s face became pale Suraj noticed that he immediately said , “ Just now you need not to do anything except cooking food for papa twice a day. I will arrange how it will reach to him “Let’s see what doctors say and will take further decision about what should be done to Mummy. You don’t worry , you are now the only responsible daughter in law of this house. You will have to manage everything. These words brought strength to Vineeta and she agreed to live there alone and manage the house. Next day was the same still doctors were trying their best to cure Geeta Devi and they said , “ We’ll have to wait for fifteen days at least to see some change in her present functioning, otherwise you will have to take her back home and take care of her. Though it’s a very tough work but we can’t allow such patients for long time but ya we can provide you a nurse , you will have to pay her.
