In a Rich man’s house there occurred
a theft.The thief stole all the jewellery many diamonds and precious jewels
and cash from his ancestral treasure
box.He had have a big house,many family members as it was a combined family and
there were 15 servants.When he came to know about the theft he got shocked but
immediately Birbal’s name clicked in his mind and he ran to him, requested him
to come and solve the case.Birbal went to his house,he asked some questions to
all family members and judged that they were innocent.Then he called all the
servants and asked them to stand in a queue.He gave one 12 inch’s stick to each
,he said ,he has brought these sticks from a very big sage,he said give these
sticks one each to test who has stolen the things,who ever will be the
thief,his stick will grow two inches next day.Next morning again he asked all
servants to stand in a queue ,he found ,one stick was shorter,he caught the
man,he confessed his crime,and returned back the stolen things.
