One day Akbar became angry with
Birbal’s one comment and asked him to leave.After some days he started missing
him.A holy man came in Akbar’s court with his two disciples,and he claimed that
he was the wisest man on the earth.Akbar said who will test him ? All the
ministers started questioning him one by one.One asked,” Who is man’s best
friend on the earth ? asked by Todarmal.The Holy man replied,” His own good
sense”Faizi asked,”Which is the most superior thing on the earth ?”The Holy man
replied “ Knowledge” .”Which thing can not be regained after it is lost ?”The
holy man replied “Life” Tansen asked,”Sweetest Voice at night ?””That Prays GOD”
replied the Holy man.Mansingh asked,”What travels faster than wind ?””Man’s
Thoughts””Which is the sweetest thing on the earth?”Baby’s Smile”replied the
holy man.Akbar got impressed.”What is necessary requirement to rule over a
kingdom ?””Cleverness”replied the Holy man.”Who is the biggest enemy of a king
?””His selfishness”replied the Holy man.King Akbar was pleased,and offered him
a seat,he recognized he was Birbal .
