One day King Shibi of Ushinar State was in his royal court.A dove came flying there,he fell down in his lap,he was trying to hide himself.he was very scared of something.King put his hand on the bird with affection and tried to show his love and assurance for the bird’s safety.Just after five minutes a Hawk came there flying,and sat in front of the King.He spoke in human voice”You are the King  famous for your justice.You must not snatch someone’s food.This Dove is my food ,give it back to me.”King Shibi said”You speak in human voice,so you can not be an ordinary bird,but you may be any one,this dove has come in my shelter,I can not give it to you.”Hawk said”I am very hungry,why do you want to kill me snatching my food”King Shibi said”You can eat any flesh,there is no need to kill this Dove for your food.”The Hawk said”Your honour,what are you saying?for flesh,we need to kill some one,this dove or anyone else.All living beings living in your state are your citizens and live in your shelter,I am a flesh eater bird,I don’t eat stale or left meat,If you can give me flesh equal to the Dove,I will satisfy my hunger.”The King said”I will not give any other living being’s flesh,I will give you my own flesh.”The Hawk said”You are a Chakrvarti King{All the small states surrender to the Chakrvarti King}Why do you cut your body for this Dove?”King Shibi said”I have decided finally,I am not immortal,and if it is used to save a life,it is the best use of it.”King asked his men to bring a big scale,he put the Dove in one side,then he took out his sword and cut his left hand with his right hand and put it in the another side,but the Dove’s side did not even move from the earth,King Shibi then cut his one leg and put it in the another side,but the Dove’s side was still heavier so he cut his another leg and put it in another side,but Dove’s side was still a little bit heavier,so he put his own bloodshed body in the another side any how,now this side became heavier and touched the earth,he said to the Hawk”You eat my body and satisfy your hunger”At the same moment Devraj Indra appeared there who was already there as the Hawk,and Agni Dev as the Dove,He said”You are so kind and religious that no body can be equal to you on this earth”King Shibi’s Body became fit and fine as it was before,Agni Dev said”We were just testing you and you passed the test,they blessed King Shibi and vanished.”
