Christmas Gift –
Betty was a little seven year girl
living with her Parents in a colony.Parents were working in a factory which was
the main source of income for that colony,The Factory management had
provided,small cottages,school,hospital,park etc.for them.All people of the
colony were working in that factory,some were as labourers,some were machine
operaters,some engineers,some in management group,stock officers, suppliers etc
.Their routine was mostly same,every morning,all children in school,and big people
in factory.Sundy was off for all.They need to do Cleaning,cooking and weekly
shopping on Sundays.
Betty was playing in
the park with her friends.She was enjoying the game while she saw Mr. George
fell down from the bench,He was reading news paper just before a minute.Betty
immediately ran to him,all the other girls followed her.They all helped Uncle
George sitting properly,then Betty went running to the hospital.All the people
living there were known to each other.She reached directly to Dr. Alfred ,who
was the main medical officer there,She quickly described about Mr.George’s
condition,and immediately a stretcher was sent there and Mr.George was brought
for the further treatment.Every body appreciated the girls for their efforts.
It was Christmas,and all the girls
were celebrating it with great enthusiasm in the Church.Lots of gifts were kept
their.On Each packet,sender’s and receiver’s names were written.Betty and her
group picked up their packets,they got surprised seeing each other’s names at
sender’s ,They all gathered and clarified that they were not senders.Then Who ?
They all were thinking ,Was it Santa ?
It was Dr. Alfred and Staff ,they did
not want to disclose their names.A line was written on each packet” For the good
girl, always ready to help people in need”
