Clever Eliot !!
Kai and Eliot were two friends they were very close friends .Kai was a simple guy and Eliot was quite smart.They were living in village and they did not have any work over there so they decided to go to the town to earn money they have heard that there are many sources of income there and they can get work easily.They took some money with them for the expenses on the way Kai put his money inside his hat,and Eliot in his pocket.
It was the time when there were no any means of transport and people used to go walking or riding horse.There were small inns available on the way so that the travelers could stay there take rest and then travel further.Burglars also found every where specially places like inns.Their work was to keep a keen eye on every traveler ,and who can be fooled easily.
One man saw Kai keeping money inside his hat.After ten minutes he went to him said,”hi ! Your hat is quite good””would you sell it to me ? I can give you five bucks”Kai thought it’s a good deal,it was an old hat.He said O.K.”He took the hat out and just wanted putting the money in his pocket while the man stopped him saying that he can not take away any thing from the hat,as deal was done and it’s inside outside every thing is sold” Kai could not reply it was a big amount of 500 dollars “The man snatched the hat and flew away riding his horse.Kai came in the room with sad face,Eliot asked”What happened ?”he described everything ,Eliot recognized ,he saw him last evening in the bar.He said,”Don’t worry ,I will bring back our money”
They immediately left the inn,and rode it towards the Burglar had gone,They saw him,but did not appear there,but kept a watch on him.Eliot saw he was taking care of the horse very much,specially his rein.He understood the matter.
He went alone there,and said ,”Hi ! your horse is looking good””Would you sell it ? I can give you 25 bucks for it.”The amount was quite good ,he said ok,He just wanted to take out the rein,Eliot said”No,No,what are you doing,the deal is done,you have taken the money now every thing with the horse is mine,he jumped on the horse,waved his hand,and rode the horse fast.”Kai was following him on their previous horse.In the jungle they untied the rein ,Kai’s money was there.They were happy to have their money back.
