Silky’s Sorrow—
Silky was a Black and Beautiful cat was a Mrs Salina’s pet.Mrs.Salina was a rich lady and she had have a big house.Mrs.Salina was a lonely lady.Her husband was an army commander and died in a war.Mrs.Salina used to feel very proud of him.He died eleven years ago,at that time she got shocked and became very sad .She had have no children so the loneliness was very big.Though she was living in an Army officer’s colony and almost every house face such shocks off and on.Many had lost their husbands and living lonely.There was a big Army club and there were many activities like gardening ,doing charity programs for poor people living in near by villages,going there and teach those children ,give them clothes and toys ,educate them about cleanliness and diseases their reasons and solutions. Arrangement of parties and having fun.But still they miss their life partners.Salina so bought that small kitten ,named her Silky,started the kitchen window kept always open for her to go out and to come back and now they were sharing their time with each other.Both of them started understanding each other’s choices ,likes and dislikes and started adjusting with each other.But the story got a big twist while suddenly doctors declared Mrs.Salina is in grip of serious disease and she got admitted to the army hospital ,and very soon died.Silky was missing her very much,She was there for six long years.Salina’s house was already donated by her as hostel for orphan children,Many days Silky passed without any food she could not understand what to do and where to go.She was in the grip of deep Sorrow.
But soon her problem solved .Seven small children were brought there and started living there.A caretaker Warden Miss.Shelton came there and a butler Charly too.Miss Shelton was a kind lady and she knew about Silky and so She asked Charly to take care of Silky too.
