Once upon a time There was a famous and big Kingdom in India,The King was Raja Bhoj,Today also we can see many Monuments of that time scattered in Ujjain ,Bhopal and some other places. The Pond which is covering a big part of Bhopal town is very beautiful and a symbol of Big Ponds.Actually it is a saying that Bhopal’s actual name was “Bhojpal”.
Once a king of neighbourhood sent three same effigies by his messenger to King Bhoj and asked what is the Price each effigy.King Bhoj arranged for Messenger’s stay and food in his guest house, and called his Brilliant Chief Minister,The Minister reached there and and watched the effigies carefully and said to the King that He had understood the mystery of the three effigies and he will declare the price of each tomorrow morning in the court.Next morning,in the court,The minister had a thin iron flexible stick in his hand, all the Courtiers and the King ,messenger were looking at him.The Minister inserted the stick in one ear of the first effigy,it comes out of the second ear, then he inserted the stick in one ear of the second effigy it comes out of the mouth of the effigy then he inserted the stick in one ear of the third effigy it could not come out, neither from another ear nor from the mouth.
The Minister said”The Price of first effigy is 100 gold coins, because it is a symbol of a man who listens from one ear and throws out from another,The Price of the second effigy is two Kaudee{Old currency used in India for buying and selling things}because it is symbol of a fool, who listens from one ear and speaks out from his mouth, then he inserted the stick in one ear of the third effigy but it did not come out either of the another ear or mouth,The Minister said it is a symbol of wise man he listens every body, understands every body but no body can know what he thinks,so this effigy is Priceless.Every body clapped for him.
