Grandma's Stories--814--Naughty Nino !!

Nino was a boy of fourteen,living in a country side hilly village in Wales.Most of the villagers were doing Sheep farming.Some children were helping their parents in it.They used to get Wool from the Sheep and sell to the Agents,who take them to the Woolen mills for making woolen clothes out of it.As the Village and the Forest was quite near Wolves and Foxes always tried to hunt Sheep.Many times they succeeded but Villagers were alert and the Sheep were taken good care of by the Villagers .Nino was a very naughty boy.He was brought up by his father as his mother left him in his early childhood.His father David was a very brute man,used to slap him for very small mistakes,SoNino became very naughty.He was doing Sheep guarding work for earning money.Doing pranks with old and weak,small children was his favourite pass time.One day he started shouting during guarding "Help Help !! Come !! Look !! The Wolf is dragging the sheep"He was shouting again and again People ran towards him and found him laughing.It happened twice,First time they forgave,second time they got annoyed with him scolded him.When he did the same third time,they ignored him,But it was true.The Wolf dragged a quite big sheep,He shouted,Cried but no one came.Then he came back with one less sheep.The Owner asked him "Why one Sheep is less ?"He described in detail.The Owner said ,"You will have to pay for it from your salary.He agreed,and came back home slowly.He decided not to do such pranks ever.
