Grandma's Stories--840--Matku Failed !!

Manasaram was living in a village.He was alone and was doing hardwork for his livelihood.His Parents left him in a Earthquake.He and was saved.He was twenty years old and at the time of Earthquake was away from his Village.When he came back he saw most of the houses got damaged including his own hut.With the help of Government's and Social Services,all people started repairing their houses.He also repaired.All the Village people got food for some days by some Social Services.Before Earthquake Manasaram and his parents were working as labourers in other's farms.But now everything was destroyed.Everyone was restarting his life.Manasaram thought everyone needs grocery,so its a good idea to buy from town nearby and sell it.He decided to buy a donkey,He found his family's Piggy bank when he was collected the saved items.It was enough amount to start a new work with the help of a donkey.He bought a donkey and named him Matku.He started his work,He used to by two to three things demanded by his customers.This time he bought salt and tied it on Matku's back.Matku was a sponger donkey.Manasaram loved him and never treated him hard,gave him proper rest and food.Matku was not at all interested in carrying goods from one place to another.The town was about 3 miles away and they need to cross a bridge on a runnel ,not very high,very near to the town.When both of them reached on the bridge,Matku bent his body,With the weight of salt bags,strings got untied,and salt fell down in the water.It was a total loss for Manasaram.Next time he bought cotton,Matku did the same,but this time he was wrong,Manasaram pulled back the wet cotton and tied again on matku's back.Now it was much more heavier than it was.After this incident Matku never tried such thing.
