King Krishndev Rai was gifted a parrot by his dear most friend.He asked his servant to look after the Parrot and he will be hanged if anything bad happen to the Parrot.The servant was taking good care of the Parrot but still one morning he found him dead.He went running to TenaliRam and described every thing .TenaliRam whispered some thing in his ear and then he went back.After some time TenaliRam reached to the Royal court.Just then the servant came running there and said,"Your Majesty !! come with me ! GOD knows what happened to the Parrot ,he is not eating or drinking."King Krishnadevrai and TenaliRam went with him,The servant then said ,"He is neither movingnor eating or drinking."King Krishnadevrai touched the Parrot and said,"You fool ! He is dead"TenaliRam said,"Yes Your Majesty ! The Parrot is dead but this poor man was so scared of you could not tell you directly this so I suggested him to tell you differently.Kingkrishnadevrai thanked TenaliRam for the better way.
