Grandma's Stories--955--Journey Of Salmon Fish !!

The eggs were breaking today.In North America Small fishes dive in dark and eat egg yolk taking out from own food bags.When the food bags get empty ,they come up at water table.Here they have many enemies. They get 5 Cm long in two years.They leave their home and go ahead towards the sea.They cross high hilly cascades of water,fall in waterfalls but still moves ahead,and continue their journey.After one thousand meter Journey they reach Pacific ocean's  salty water,they move ahead and then they get cold icy water,here they get lots of plankton,small seaweeds,prawns,shrimps,They pounce on this food.After one year they all become more than half meter long and weigh more than 11 Kg.,they are quite strong,but their enemies like Seal Fish,Otters,and beavers and humans are ready to eat them.They now can swim 15 Kilo Meters in a day,and jump in water falls.Their journey back to their homes starts now,one day they reach back,from where they had started their journey.Now again its time for breeding,They dig a deep drain like place,males do infusion of eggs,and cover the drain with small gravel,After four to five days about 20 thousand eggs have been laid,but the fishes are so tired they die,& the eggs will start breaking soon,again the same journey will start.
