Grandma's Stories--965-- Naughty Dagwood !!

Dagwood Duck was alone in that pond.His Mom and three young brothers were lost.He searched them all over but didn't find them.Dagwood was known as very Naughty Duck among all living in that pond.He was very sad and decided to find them.This Pond was very big and beautiful.There is a big garden around it.Many people used to come there with their children.There were many interesting swings in that garden,There was a steep path going towards the hill,from one side of the garden.Dagwood used to watch them.Children some times throw popcorn,he and his family used to have fun together.Sometimes they liked to sit at the bank in sand.Some times they Dagwood and his younger brothers liked hide and seek or running a race or catching one another.Mom used to enjoy their play sitting and watching.But Suddenly why and how they disappear Dagwood couldn't understand.He was recalling yesterday's incidents.And suddenly one thing clicked in his mind.While he was busy eating Popcorn,and enjoying children's laugh and fun,he remembered,his mom and younger brothers were going towards the hill.
He decided to go to the hill.It was a holiday and people were not allowed to come in the garden as cleaning people were doing cleaning there once in a week.His two friends Cosmo and Jago accompanied him.It took about one hour to climb up.It was fun filled experience but a little bit scary too.
Suddenly he heard his brother's quacking,he ran towards the place.He saw his Mom Suzy and three brothers Tom,Dick & Harry enjoying in a temporary Muddy Puddle.Dagwood asked his Mom" Why didn't you tell me ? 
Mom and his younger brothers looking each other & laughed loudly.Mom said," We were testing you." !!
