In Shravasti a couple's little child was seriously ill,he died after some days of illness.Neighbours came and said,"Make preparations for funeral ."Krasha Gautami { Wife}said"Would you go and burn my child?"Her husband said," He is no more,he is dead"She said,"I will search medicine to make him alive."Krasha Gautami went out from the house,she was holding the dead body of her child in her lap."Who ever saw her on the way was sympathized.She went to Lord Buddha,She said,"I came to know that you can treat my son"Lord Buddha saw the child and said to her,"Go and get handful of rice,but only from that house where no one has died"Krasha Gautami quickly went to bring rice,she knocked & asked rice from many people,but she could not find any house where nobody has died."She thought"It means there is no medicine for death"She buried the child in the jungle and came back.She then entered in "Sangh" and started following Buddhism"
