Proverbs !! C {9 }

Come--come with the wind,go with the water.
Lightly come,lightly go.
He that comes of hen,must scarpe.
He who comes uncalled sits unserved
Never cross a bridge till you come to kit.
Looked for comes at last
Do what you outhest and come what can come.
Comfort--One year of joy another of comfort,and all the rest of content.
Comforter--The comforters head never aches.
Coming--Coming events cast their shadows before them.
Command--Counsel is no command.
Command your man and do it your self.
Commands enough that obeys a wise man
The command of custom is great.
He is not fit to command others that can not command himself.
He that commands enough that obeys a wise man.
Commence--He who commences many things finishes but few.
Commit--He that commits a fault,thinks everyone speaks of it.
The first faults are theirs that commit them the second 
theirs that permit them.
Common--A common servant .
Common fame is a liar.
The things in fields are in common.
Where coin is not common ,commons must be scant.
Common fame is seldom blame.
Companion--A man knows his companion in long journey and a little inn.
There is no companion like the penny.
Company--The company makes the feast.
There is no body who will go to hell for company.
Good company on the road is the shortest cut.
As man is so is his company.
It is good to have company in trouble
I would rather have your room than your company.
Two is company ,there is crowd.
A man is known by company he keeps.
Better he alone than in bad company.
Comparison--It is comparison that makes men happy or miserable.
Man woman and devil are the three degrees of comparison.
Comparisons are odorous.
Complain-- He complains wrongfully on the sea that twice suffers shipwreck.
Complexion--Cold of complexion good of condition.
Comply-He that complies against he will ,is of his own opinion still.
Complimentary --One complimentary letter asks another.
Conceit--Conceited goods are spent quickly.
Conduct--We may give advice but we can not give conduct.
Confess--Confess and be hanged
Confes debt and beg days.
Consult--Too much consulting confounds.
Consume--Consume your own smoke.
Contemplate--He that contemplates has a day without night.
Contempt--Contem[t pierces even through the shell or the tortoise.
To be too busy gets contempt.
Some evils are cured by contempt.
Content--Content is more than a kingdom.
Content is the philosopher's stone that turn all it touches into gold.
He that studies his content wants it.
Content is happiness.
He who is content in his poverty is wonderfully rich.
They need much whom nothing will content
Content lodges oftener in cottages than in places.
Contented--He that has nothing is not contented
A contented mind is a continual fiest.
He may be well contented who needs neither borrow nor flatter.
Contention --Spread the table and contention cease.
Counsel--If the counsel be good,no matter who gave it.
To take counsel must be followed not praised.
He that is his own counsel has a fool for a client 
If the old dog barks ,he gives counsel
To the Counsel of fools a wooden bell.
Lucky men need no counsel 
Come not Counsel uncalled.
Counselled-- He that will not be counselled cannot be helped
Council--Councils of war never fight
Cpunt--To count one's chickens before they are hatched 
count not four except you have them in wallet.
Counted-- When you have counted your cards you will find you have 
gained but little.
Country--My country right or wrong
Happy is the country which has no history
GOD made the country man made the town
The chickens are the country's but city eats them.
So many countries so many customs.
King's chaff is worth other man's corn
Corn is cleansed with wind and soul with chastenings
Gentry sent to market will not buy one bush of corn
Corn hides itself in the snow as an old man infurs.
Corner--Truth seeks no corners
Cornish--You shall know the cornish men
Corpse--Happy is the bridge the sun shines on
And the corpse the rain rains on
Corruption--Corruption of the best is worst
Cost--The more cost the more honour
What costs little is less esteemed
It costs more to do ill than to do well
Civility costs nothing
Cottage I will not change a cottage in possession for kingdom in reversion.
Love lives in cottages as well as courts.
