 Nilanjana and Subir enjoyed a two-way cruise in the Ganges on their way to and from Dakshineswar and also enjoyed a bus ride. The next day they both went to Howrah station, took a train to Chandan Nagar, got down and took an auto rickshaw and wanted to see the house of Nilanjana's maternal grandfather there. It was raining a lot and so they couldn't get to the right place. They saw a museum built by the French, Complete Chandannagar is known as French Colony. The next morning they both went to Barabazar again. This time the taxi driver in which they rode, told that people here do not get their houses painted because they have to pay money to the syndicate. Nilanjana asked who are they? He told that they are authorised by the government. Later in the election, the interpretation of "Tolabaji" and "Cut money" was heard a lot and Nilanjana understood that "Why people are so scared, why are they migrating from Bengal and which used to be called a "City of Joy"now seemed like a dead town. Nilanjana bought two more kanti koda (frying pans) for her sister and sister-in-law Preeti and Sanjana. In the evening they took the train to the last stop in Dumdum, took a taxi and Went to Subir's uncle who was turned 93 years old ,who was in the honourable position in CBI as finger print specialist, they came back to hotel by taxi, next day it was February 28. They had breakfast in the morning and checked out on time.
