Today’s Tip !!
Generations changed and with them the values also changed. The family system changed, once upon a time families were combined. Happiness and sorrows were shared equally and the money earned also shared equally. Not only parents but if there was any father’s widow sister living in the family was equally respected and taken full care in old age. Actually this was Indians religious and social system right from the beginning of marriage institution. Life cycle was going on same, grand parents, parents and then children in same role, social status, working and retiring. Gradually changes appeared with the development. Those which were combined families gradually got converted into nuclear families,Mom Dad and children. Children are now provided best education and everything according to economic status. Children achieve best careers and shift to far away places or countries. Parents, old parents left behind. Old age has many problems, parents are now retired and can have some medical problems. They need help but children are not with them, they need to spend quite good amount of money for health purposes ,if they retired from government job they get good amount as pensions but if they are retired from a private job and already spent most of their savings on children’s education and marriages , they are now empty but it’s not ok. I have a teaching for them to save money for old age ,medical needs , and for salaries for the helping people they will need in their old age. Never withdrew a single penny from these savings.one must be practical and prepare for old age.
