Today’s Tip !! Bringing up a child !!

Bringing up a child is not same in last three generations and recent generation. The first born in British India and parents were unaware of family planning so there used to have six, seven or eight children in a house, father used to get busy doing hard work for earning money for livelihood, mother used to get busy cooking food for all , and other house hold works, they were mostly uneducated so they never know what their children learning in school or besides studies what they are doing, so for self awareness or self development the children did efforts on their own, that might be taking part in freedom struggle or studying hard to become a Barrister going to London for that purpose. And the best thing was they studied all subjects in English medium. Now in next generation these children became parents and wanted a good life for their children in free India but Alas ! Hindi medium was imposed in all government schools, only science subjects were taught in English because technical words for particular things were more tough than English, those who were studying in Hindi medium for all subjects except English text book  if passed M.A. or P.HD never became good English users, only some of them who studied English as a subject throughout up till graduation were able to read and write perfectly. In this generation, children who were in front line participated in Music, Dance, in school’s cultural programmes or in sports in schools teams cricket, football, table tennis Kho Kho or kabaddi etc. They got inspiration by parents and teachers. Now about the third generation, when these children became parents they also inspired and promoted their children to participate in extra curricular activities, but up to this time making own career was the toughest job for children, because hard competition was there and children mostly concentrated on studies and coaching etc. After going through a hard competition they at last achieved a career of their own choice.Let’s now talk about the fourth generation, up to this time Internet made the world a global village. Due to multi national companies many such parents got in touch of foreign countries and how children brought up there. A baby when arrives in the world, not allowed by hospital to take out holding in lap at the time of discharge parents had to show baby’s car seat tightened in the back seat of the car , then only parents could take the baby home. Social worker visit weekly to these parents to see how they are bringing up the child, the child has to put in a different cot not near mother, the six weeks baby learns swimming and it’s essential, then he participates in many extra curricular activities Music, dance, cricket , football, tennis, playing guitar, and what not. This way the child gets all-round development of his personality, for that parents spend quite a good amount. This culture adopted by India’s fourth generation parents too. Parents not only spend money but they also do hard work for dropping and picking up the child from play ground or from swimming pool . A child comes in this world with many inner virtues merits and we need to give him a proper place to bloom these, so that his personality can get the fullest of the polishing and he becomes a confident and perfect personality to fight with the challenges of life !!
