Pundit  Pundit Shandilya went straight to Brajesh Shukla’s house and asked him about this basic problem if Kanyadaan. Brajesh Shukla already had a plan for that. His younger brother Kalpesh and his wife Devika had no children and were living near them. They had have formal relations because after equally divided the property between these two brothers, Brajesh earned big money and fane too, he had two brilliant sons helping him in his business but Kalpesh did a private job throughout his life and he had no children. Brajesh Shukla asked Pundit Shandilya to go and bring Kalpesh with him. It was just a matter of neighbourhood so within ten minutes they came together. Brajesh Shukla politely hugged him and informed him about Jitendra and Devendra’s marriage next day. He said , “ You will have to do Kanyadan for both the girls as there is no married couple with them. Kalpesh agreed. Janki Devi brought sweets as it was a good news in the family. She gave some sweets for Devika Devi too. After that both went to their homes. Pundit Shandilya was thinking tomorrow will be very busy day and also a day of good income too. Kalpesh felt a pain in his heart as he had no children and no such happiness  ever expected in his family.He entered in his house and gave the good news to his wife handed over the sweets given by Janki Devi . She didn’t respond . Then Kalpesh said “ Bhaiya asked us to do the Kanyadan of both the girls.” She said okay.
