Once Lord Shiva and Parvati were just viewing the “Prthvi Lok”{The Earth and Its People},Parvati saw a Poor Bramhin doing hard work just to pull on his life ahead.He was very religious and follower of Lord Shiva.Parvati said,”Look he does hard prayers since a long time why don’t you change his fortune.Lord Shiva said that because you are saying I can give him a chance but “Fortune”is what ,A result of all his good or bad works.At that time Brahmin was coming back after doing a Pooja{Prayers} from far away place.He was
in hurry and wanted to reach home early,so walking fast,He saw a packet tied by cloth a little distant by the side of the main path,He just for a moment stopped and shook his head and walked ahead.A Rich man of the town was coming riding his horse,he saw that packet and got down,Picked it up ,opened it and his eyes were sparkling with joy,Lord Shiva smiled and said”Look I had given him lots of jewels and diamonds ,gold enough for his three generation but he moved ahead “Parvati then said “One more chance.Lord Shiva said”OK”Next morning the Bramhin went to buy vegetables ,he was buying a Pumpkin,Inside the Pumpkin there were all the Jewels and diamonds Gold hidden,He picked up that Pumpkin and then left it and walked ahead to the next vegetable seller.An another Rich man bought that Pumpkin,His wife cut it and the whole family was dancing with joy.Now Parvati said ,”Let me try now”Lord Shiva said,”Ok”Brahmin heard about a very tough “Shastrarth “going on in Banaras,he decided to take part ,He had a deep knowledge of all the holy books,he reached there ,he won,the King of banaras was the chief guest of this Shastrarth ,he was very much impressed by his knowledge,he immediately announced one lacs gold coins as prize and also he honoured him by offering the Royal Priest’s post with all the facilities,which he accepted.Lord Shiva said,”I knew it.
