Malwa’s Spoof—
Long long ago in Malawa Pradesh King Bhanu Pratap was ruling.His Kingdom was quite big.He was known for his justice and so crimes ratio was very low.His daughter Kalawati was cooperating him in administrative works.All his Ministers were sincere and hard working,doing their own work by complete efforts.There are still many places worth viewing in Malawa Pradesh.These days People like to spend their holidays in such places.Pachmarhi ,Sanchi,Ujjain,Indore,Khajuraho, have many historical, cultural and religious places,every one like to view at least once in a life time.
There were some ruins also people like to see in Mandu.Those days also people liked to see them.At Mandu’s entrance gate,a small hut was viewed by people suddenly.When they wanted to enter a man Durjan Singh with
crooked smile used to come out of the hut and say,”You need to mortgage your eyes if you want to go in,and when you give 100 gold coins you can get back your eyes,This sentence was very scary for all of them,and they used to turn around and while they walk two or three steps they used to listen his voice again ,”You can go in by giving only 10 gold coins and need not to mortgage your eyes.People used to think this is better and they pay”This dacoity was being done for last six months,and Minister concerned an old man was unaware of it.And one day the news reached Kalawati.She immediately planned some thing and reached Mandu.She was wearing ordinary clothes and her one friend was also with her.She directly reached at the entrance gate,took out a paper out of her cloth bag and said to the Cheat Durjansingh,”I am here to take back my husband’s eyes,I have brought money,Look ! in this agreement you have written that if you fail giving back eyes then you will give your eyes.”Cheat Durjansingh was not expecting such thing and Kalawati’s voice was so commanding he could not even utter a single word.Now it was Kalawati’s turn to give a signal to the soldiers to catch the Spoof,till that time he knew that his game is over and she is none other than Princess Kalawati.”He was caught and brought to the Capital,and punished hard,Lot of gold coins found by digging that illegal hut,and coins were returned back to those who were the victims.
