Taimur Lang was born in Ujbekistan.At the age of 8 -9 his mother and brothers were carried as prisoners to Samarkand by Mughal army.While he was stealing a sheep he was shot by two arrows one of his right leg and andother in right hand.He was regarded as Military leader but he could not claim the supreme title of the Islamic world .He spent 35 years in various wars.He butchered one lakh Hindus just in a day.One day he heard about a Fakeer his forecasts were used to be true and perfect.He sent his soldiers and asked them to bring him with respect,as he himself had have very much respect,towards,educated,Artists, Sculpture specialists ,and
all the people who had have mastery or deep knowledge of any subjects,during his attacks also he already had warned his soldiers not to kill such people and he with respect and full care used to send them to Samarkand or Bukhara,so in that period these two places were known as great educational and cultural hubs.The Fakeer {Saint}did not come with the soldiers,then Taimur Lang himself went to him.He asked ,”Tell some thing about me”Fakeer laughed out loud and presented an earthen pot to him,covered with a golden plate,water was filled in it,he said “Break it”Taimur Lang broke,the water was soaked by the ground and the earthen pot also got mixed with the ground ,but the gold Plate was as it is as it was.Fakeer said “This is what we all human beings are,we,our life,it is just soil,again mixed with soil,and the gold plate is what you achieved by invading other countries,and people,it is the same,but its masters keep on changing always.Taimur Lang was speech less,he went back silently.
