Perfect Judgement –
Mathuradas was a rich trader,living in the capital.His main trade was to lend money and give money to the needy people by taking interest,the people who are living around,Morning till night people used to come to him for taking money or returning money back to him.If any one needs to organize his daughter’s marriage he needs money ,if any one needs to buy a horse or a pair of bullocks or bullock cart,if any one needs to take his old father or mother to the doctor and doctor says that the treatment is very expensive then he needs to borrow money from Mathuradas. His complete work was going on
the basis of trust.But one day a complaint reached to King Aaditya Vardhan.The complainer was Fisher man Karma.He came and said he gave his hard money’s converted into 100 Gold coins to Mathuradas while he was going too far away village to see his old mother who was ill.He was in hurry and he did not have much time to sign the approved agreement,so he just handed the money bag over to Mathuradas, he untied the bag counted the coins said,”OK” Then Karma ran to catch the bus.While he reached to the Village he got busy with Mother’s treatment,and after two months I came this morning and when I went and asked my coins back Mathuradas said,”Which coins?”I tried to remind him for a long time by different ways but failed ,I then understood he does not want to give back my gold coins as I did not sign the agreement I don’t have any evidence.”I don’t know how would I get back my money,It is my whole life’s hard earning.”King Aaditya Vardhan was very intelligent ,he immediately sent soldiers to bring Mathuradas and bring his all money where ever he had kept or hidden.”The soldiers followed King’s orders.Within 15 minutes Mathuradas with all his money arrived.King Aaditya Vardhan asked his Ministers to put the gold coins at one place and there is no need to test the other coins.Now King asked their Ministers to smell the coins and if they smell like fish,the coin must be kept aside.It was not hard,14 Ministers and the King himself doing the work,within 15 minutes,they had smelt all gold coins.Now King asked the Prime Minister to count the coins with Fish smell,they were 100.Mathuradas was trembling with fear,tears were rolling down on his cheeks.He was punished hard,as he tried to cheat a poor fisherman.
