Long Long ago,In ancient India,People used to send their children to”Gurukul”.These Type of schools were situated out of the town and quite far away from the town.It was completely free education.Children were sent there at the age of 4 and they used to come back home,when they grew young.They learn their{Ved,Purann,Upnishad,smriti,etc}Holy books,Horse riding,use of Bow and arrow ,use of Sword ,etc.They used to get different duties,as cutting and bringing wooden sticks, bringing water from well,river or pond,and also they used to go for begging house to house eatables,{It was their right,and it was understood and given by every body happily}They used to cook food,wash their clothes,clean the school and utensils themselves.Each child was equal whether he was a poor boy or he belongs to a Royal family.
Krishna is a well known Personality through out the world.His mother Devaki was King Kans’s Sister but he brought up in Nand Yashoda’s house.At that time he was in the Gurukul.His nearest friend was Sudama.He was a poor boy.One day they had to go to the jungle to bring wooden sticks.Suddenly the sky got dark and it started raining,they took shelter under a tree.The rain did not stop for a long time,Krishna was feeling hungry,He told this to Sudama,Sudama took out some roasted rice{Chiura} which was tied in his clothes,he gave it to Krishna,Krishna felt happy,and could satisfy his hunger.
After education every student went to his home.Krishna became the king.Sudama got married,and had children,he was living in a hut,he remained poor.His wife knew about his and Krishna’s friendship during Gurukul Days,so she insisted Sudama many times to go and ask for some help,but Sudama denied always.One day wife got succeeded and Sudama got ready to go to Krishna,His wife gave him some roasted rice{Chiura}for Krishna.Sudama reached Krishna’s Palace,He was bare footed in Torn clothes ,the Guards did not allow him to go in,When he requested”Please just go and say to your king”Sudama has come”The guards did the same,hearing this,Krishna came running at the gate,he hugged Sudama,took him inside the Palace,asked him to sit on his own throne,called his maid and asked her to bring some water,then he himself washed Sudama’s feet,took him for lunch.Sudama was hiding the roasted rice,but Krishna saw this and snatched,he immediately started eating them.After lunch Sudama asked Krishn’s permission to go back home.He could not speak about any help due to hesitation.He went back home,on the way,he was thinking,what would he say his wife,but when he reached quite near to his hut,he did not find any hut,instead of the hut there was a big Palace,he got surprised,where his hut has gone?,but when he came nearer he saw his wife moving there wearing silk clothes and lots of ornaments,and his children were playing with each other wearing costly clothes..Now he understood,his friend Krishna had done this all,because he knows every thing.
