Wise Bird—
Bernie and Malice decided to live in that ruin at the out skirts of the town.It was a ruin of Palace and quite long long ago built.No body liked to come there and a foolish thought was spread by human beings that ghosts are there in that Palace.It is said that the Last Prince of that kingdom was very cruel and his people disliked and hated him.Though they could not show their feelings in front of him but they all criticized him behind.He was a type of fussy man.All people around him tried to do their best but he was always dissatisfied.About food,cloths,arms,designs regarding new constructions and relations with neighbour states.He used to punish hard for just his own dissatisfaction.This was all happened after his father’s death though he was also not very kind to people but he knew his limits.
Bernie was telling all this to his new mate Malice.Malice asked ,”What do you think about human beings ?How different they are and how superstitious as well.?
“Oh,Yes ! They are,Look they call fools “Owls” or “Student or assistant of Owl”{Ullu or Ullu Ka Pattha} in some countries,though they worship most,The Goddess of wealth “Lakshmi”and it is described in their Mythology that she rides “Owl ”.On the other hand in most of the European Countries we the Owls are known as symbol of wisdom and Yes ! They are right.Malice smiled.
Tell me about the Prince,What happened to him ? “When his madness crossed people’s tolerance they all decided to kill him a crowd of such mad people entered in the palace and they hanged him.”And after that day no body came here because of the rumour that the Prince became a ghost and he moves in his Palace ruins.
“Do you think its true ?Malice asked .
“Now you don’t think like human beings”said Bernie
Suddenly they heard rustling of dry leaves.They got alert.Malice was looking at the side of that sound.After a few seconds a stray dog appears there.Bernie and Malice looked at each other and smiled,and then got busy making their nest.
