Artist –
King Krishnadevraya was known for his interest in arts and he used to reward good artists and so from all over India artists used to come to him and got rewarded.One day an artist came to Hampi,He came there from Bidar .He could easily enrolled his name there.It was dinner time and King Krishnadevraya was busy with Royal family,he asked the artist to paint the scene ,but after finishing when he showed ,King said it is an incomplete painting and he asked his guards to push him,The artist was sitting in the middle of the road in front of the Palace and every one passing through was talking about King’s ill treatment.Tenali Rama came to know this and he said,”I will show him how nicely you painted my portrait sitting on a red carpet, whole night .He placed the painting in Royal chamber ,When the King got up and saw Tenali Rama neither wished him and nor standing he asked then he came to know that it was a portrait and not Tenali Rama he became very happy seeing the art,he called the artist and rewarded him.
