An Honest Man –
The Court was on,suddenly a courtier got up and blamed ,”Your majesty ! Tenali Rama now a corrupt man,he takes bribe,he repeated the sentence three times,at that time Tenali Rama was absent.Next day when Tenali Rama came,King Krishnadevraya said,”I have heard complaints against you,that you take bribe and threaten people.Tenali Rama got shocked hearing those false blames. He tried to convince King Krishnadevraya but he said ,”Either prove that you are not corrupt or resign”.Next day when the court begun Tenali Rama’s servant came with a letter,A courtier was asked to read it aloud, ”Honourable Your Majesty ! I am feeling very much humiliated by the accusation and could not prove my honesty so leaving the world” Every body present there started praising Tenali Rama,A man with simple clothes and artificial beard was standing there,he was Tenali Rama.He then said ,” I have proved I am an honest man”
