Grandma's Stories--397--Two Blue Diamonds !!

Richard was a poor wood cutter.His routine was very simple,every day he used to go to the forest ,cut fire wood till afternoon and then go to the market ti sell the fire wood. he was a simple man and was not married yet, He wanted to get married but never dared due to economic condition.One day He went to cut fire wood when he reached to the forest ,suddenly he caught in storm,There was thunder and lightning,Some small trees were falling.He could hardly save himself because there was no shelter there,he was in the middle of the forest.He started running but the mud was stopping his speed,and at last he slipped,his head dashed to a tree,he got fainted,he had a dream ,he was in a grand Palace,He was in the court,All courtiers were sitting there wearing nice bright silky clothes,The King was sitting on the throne at higher stage,He smiled at Richard called him up ,Richard reach near him,he gave him two quite big blue diamonds,and said,”You are a good man take these diamonds,these diamonds will remove your poverty,go and get married.Richard opened his eyes,he was feeling slight pain at the back head ,but wow ! what is this ? the two real blue diamonds were in his hand.His eyes opened wde with big surprise,he was still laying in the mud,but the diamonds were shining on his palm,What was that ?he thought,Was it a dream ? he was confused ,the rain and storm stopped ,he got up,walked slowly,went home.His life changed,he got married ,bought a new house.Happily lived ever after.But it became a puzzle for him always,what was that a dream or ?
