Robin Thomas was just five years old .His Mom received a phone call from his class teacher.She called her at teachers parents meeting.Robin’s Mom And Dad were working people, working in a bank.After dropping Robin in school they used to go to the Bank.Robin had to stay in school after school timings as his Parents used to come back at 6 in the evening. There was an arrangement for those children whose parents were working. Mom was told by the class teacher at the meeting that Robin was very shy and never replies asked questions,never goes out in the play ground with friends to play in the half time break.He participates in sports as it was compulsory subject,but he has already missed two classes.He gets scared in climbing up and down stairs,He does this only some one holds his hand,he or she may be a teacher or a classmate.
Robin Thomas born after 12 years of their marriage.Mom & Dad were giving him extra protection and because of only this reason he had become very much dependent and could never take his own decisions.Mom and Dad were told all these things along with a suggestion that Mrs.Johnson is school’s Career master & she is a Psychiatrist as well so you must meet her.At first Mr.& Mrs Thomas felt bad but they agreed they went to Mrs.Johnson’s room ,Many parents were sitting there out side her room and were going one by one when name called.They went in,Mrs.Johnson was conveyed every thing by the teacher .She said ,”Don’t worry he will be fine ,only you have to follow some suggestions and instructions strictly given by me,they agreed.She said”Let him sleep alone in his own bed room,keep the lights on at first then gradually you can make it dimmer ,ask him to get ready for school on his own you can guide him for each work ,Ask him to put his bag,water bottle shoes and uniform toys etc at proper place.Allow him to play in the park alone with other known or un known children,watch from a distance,write down a daily diary bout his activities at home,I will see him in school.
Now a new routine started ,at first day it was very tough for Robin and his parents both to sleep in a different room but next day on wards it started moving smoothly and gradually Robin became more strong and confident
Today he is 25 years old,and going to receive the best swimmer’s award by the President he won the international championship .It was a huge hall where all the invited people were sitting many of them were there for their son’s or daughter’s achievement awards.
The programme started,the names were being called one by one from the stage Robin was forth .He reached at the stage he was asked to say some thing,His eyes filled with tears he said,”The credit goes to three people ,My Mom Dad and Mrs Johnson my teacher but un fortunately all of them are not in the world,They inspired me and changed my personality ,I never liked swimming in my childhood ,I was a coward boy ,I dedicate this award to them for their hard work.Every body was clapping in the Hall.
