Dallas the Swimmer !
Dallas Donkey was an excellent Swimmer,It is very rare he could swim and cross the big river in the village he was living in a Potter’s house working all day long was given enough to eat but he was not happy.He was not happy because Potter Jackie used to kick him with his leg,all the time calling him attaching bad words.Just like “You fool ! You Idiot ! You Silly boy!You Crazy ! You Fool ! etc.Jackie never liked his braying.Dallas did not like it at all, Jackie had a seven years old son named Sandy.Jackie’s wife left him three years ago when Sandy was just four years,She died after long illness ,Now Jackie had to take care of him.Jackie’s routine was very busy and Dallas also used to be busy with him.
Sandy loved Dallas very much and used to stroke him.Dallas also liked him very much& give him his own bread and Jam.The feeling of this happiness used to be so stronger,Dallas used to forget the bitterness of the bad words and Jackie’s behaviour.Previously he thought many times to run away but Sandy’s affection stopped him.
Sandy had just now started going to school his school was at river side colony .To drop him to school and to bring back him was a sincere duty followed by Jackie but one day he missed ,Actually he had been to the town for shopping and he assumed to be back before Sandy’s school off,but he could not reach,Dallas was tied,but he smelt some thing wrong,he broke the string with full strength and ran towards the school,he saw there was crowd at the bank,many children and big people also watching,Sandy fell down in the river while he was catching his ball,he was drowning,Dallas jumped and reached near Sandy got relaxed he caught Dallas and then felt safe on his back,Dallas smoothly reached at the bank,Jackie was also standing in the crowd crying vigorously.Dallas reached near him,Sandy was walking along,All of them hugged,Jackie was stroking and kissing Dallas !
