Greedy Asaka !
Long Long Ago Heroki was living in Teshio {one of the Japanese towns now a days} ,with his wife Asaka. He was a hard worker and working in King’s Palace as gardener. He was very loyal and and soft spoken.King and all the people respected his loyality. His wife Asaka was very Pugnacious and loud all the time ready to fight with people around and Heroki as well. They did not have any kids.Heroki used to feel a vacuum in life.Asaka was very greedy also ,she was not at all satisfied with the salary Heroki brings. They were living in a small house near the Palace.Asaka used to dream of of big house and silk clothes golden ornaments, but she could not fulfil her desires with Heroki’s small income and so her anger was always on the tip of her tongue,She never ever talked softly with any body,She used to blame Heroki about this Poverty, and lacking of money,But he never took it seriously. The King increased his salary twice but Asaka’s greed also increased.
Heroki grew a very very beautiful garden around the Palace,There was a big Pond laying with beautiful Lotus flowers at the middle of the Park with beautiful colourful flowers.Birds and butterflies liked to be there. One day a small baby Swan with Golden feathers came there, and he just plucked his one feather with his beak and threw it in front of Heroki,He went running and showed it to the King,he said you take it,Swan is yours.Heroki went to the gold smith,it was pure gold,he sold it and gave money to Asaka.Every day Swan was giving a feather and Heroki giving money to his wife. She asked many times but did not get the reply. One day she followed her husband, and watched her activities all day long and came to know the truth. That night ,When Heroki slept, she went to King’s garden with Idea to steal the Swan and get the gold at a time,She saw him sitting at one place, she reached near him ,She caught him in her arms, but Oh ! O ! It vanished ,She saw all over but did not find, then came back home.No body so the Swan after that incident.
