Vasco’s Greed !!
The place was at the border of the country so Soldiers living in Barracks  ,need to be ready always because of the neighbouring countries disturbances. There was a two storied building at the hill,belongs to those army people.It was a mess at first floor and a dining hall at the ground floor.Hudson was the Chief Chef and two butlers Dominic & Parker,and two more helpers  Joce & Marcus to do all small works like buying vegetables,other Grocery items cleaning the place etc.150 to 200 soldiers used to have lunch dinner there.Joce was a very kind boy ,feeling good towards animals and birds.Crow”Vasco” was one of those birds ,Who are lucky enough to get sympathy  ,Care and affection.Joce bought two Mattel Bowls from the market on very first day  he started putting Pancakes or rice in one bowl and water in another bowl For “Vasco”
Every evening the atmosphere of the dining hall seems like a Party hall atmosphere ,Music could be listened and Dance could be viewed there.It was completely Hilly area and houses built there were scattered and quite away from each other.
It was Summer Sunday morning and Hudson decided to serve Cheese Sandwiches to the soldiers. Joce and Marcus had one to the market ,Dominic and Parker are still not entered in the kitchen.Hudson took out two big cheese bricks from the Fridge and put it on the kitchen so that they get back to the normal temperature and easy to cut slices for Sandwiches.
Suddenly Dominic called him”Mr.Hudson ! Come down its your Phone call”Those days Mobile phones were not invented and STD Calls for too far places  were very tough to get connected ,It used to take long time and many efforts of telephone department,Hudson went running to receive the call.After finishing conversation while he came back ,He screamed hard ,He saw “Vasco”was sitting and eating cheese,he spoilt both the big bricks ,cheese pieces were scattered all over .
Joce was punished to buy immediately another Bricks spending own money,He threw both the Vasco’s pots ,went to bring a blacksmith and immediately  got fixed  the wire mesh there to the window.
“Vasco”Lost regular food because of his greed now he is searching food here and there.
