Trick Worked—
The story belongs to quite old Indian time. Those days Houses were made up of soil, and thickly populated means very close to each other, I am sorry to say till today in interior parts of India houses are made up of soil and People living in them don’t have the electricity and tap water facilities.
Thefts were very common those days and very sorry to say different types of crimes are very common and very big in number these days also.
Any way is Thieves some times ,if the doors locked, used to enter by house breaking, and some times enter silently and hide themselves till midnight ,when the house members sleep, they silently pick all the valuable things up and run away.
So,People used to keep keen eye on their houses and avoid leaving the house.
Raman and Ramola were two children studying at home and suddenly their mother need to go as her aunt was seriously ill,so she warned children not to go out and be careful, and she went out,but after all they were children and thief was clever,so he entered and hid himself behind the big container of wheat grain.During studies a hot discussion started between Raman and Ramola,Ramola threw his pencil, and the pencil reached near the container. Raman reached to bring his pencil back he saw the shadow of the thief there, but he neither got scared nor screamed ,His brain started working fast,He decided to continue the discussion. He said,”Ramola,You are a coward girl””No,I am not”She replied loudly. He said O.K. Tell me if a thief enters in your house what would you do ?She said”I will shout ,Thief Thief”Raman said “No body will listen to you if you shout such a way inside the house””Ramola ,immediately went and opened the door and started shouting loudly Thief Thief come and catch him”She was shouting continuously so people living around came in with their sticks and the Thief was caught and handed over to the headman of the village for punishment. Headman gave bravery prizes to both the children.
