She was born on 2nd Feb 1926 She was one among six brothers and four sisters.It was the time when there was no family planning system.Grandpa was a rich man he was doing business of supplying Radios and also had have a shop of Motor Parts in Siyaganj Indore.He used to be on tour for supplying and collecting money.When he arrived and went to Grandma’s room,asked about baby,Grandma said “She is a girl and with dark complexion “Grandpa said ,”Welcome her,She is “Lokkhhee”{Lakshmi}I got profit of 20000 Rs today.
House was full of luxuries,There was a big Puja Ghar for Grandma,with full of Sweets Packets and fruits baskets.In such big family ,a mother can’t take perfect care of all children.
Leela liked eating sugar very much and this weakness continued till her last days.There was a brass bucket full of sugar in the kitchen.When ever no body was watching her ,She silently started eating sugar holding that bucket in both the hands sitting in Gallery. One day Grandma saw this, she brought Grandpa to show this scene silently,Both of them smiled ,he said,”Let her eat”
