Grandma's Stories--963--Sophia & Scarecrow !!

Sophia was living with her grandfather Mr.Xander  in a country side village.She was eight years old.Her Parents David & Clare were living in town and both of them were working people,so they found harder to bring up Sophia, Grand father had a farm.He was a strong man and and successfully doing farming.Sophia was studying in Village school.She was very happy with Grandpa,and never missed her parents.
Wheat,and Corn was grown in his farm,and was sold in Village grain market.He was earning quite good amount.There was a Scarecrow in Grandpa's farm to save the crops from birds.
Sophia liked that Scarecrow very much,she named him Sam,and she used to decorate him by new caps,scarfs,and T-shirts.She used to talk to him,but never receive a reply.
It was evening and Sophia was play in farm with her friends in the farm.Grandpa already had gone home.One by one all friends gone,but she still wanted to talk to Sam.
Sam ! Would you like to come home ?
"Yes " he replied.Sophia looked up,she was scared.
She stood up and started running towards home.Scare Crow was following her.She reached home and started knocking the door.
Grandpa opened,She entered quickly."Close the door Grandpa ! Close the door" She was whispering."Wake up Wake Up" she listened.It was Grandpa waking her up."She woke up.
Where is Sam ? She asked."He is in the Farm my child,How can he come here.
Sophia now understood ,she was dreaming and It was morning not evening.She smiled.
