Mrs Shalini Desai helped her fifteen year daughter Rima Desai to sit on her bed.She shifted her from her wheel chair to bed.She then turned on the TV ,gave the remote to her daughter,asked her to watch the TV till she is back from the temple.Then she came out from the room and went out.She called a taxi and went away.Both of them were at that time living in a middle class hotel named Star Shine,Mumbai.They belong to a different town,and these days both of them are on holidays.
When Mrs.Shalini Desai came back she found the door opened and Rima Desai was not there.She screamed hard.The hotel staff including the manager rushed there,She was asking " Where is my daughter ? I left her here and had gone to the temple but she is not here now."Call the Police" The Manager called the police.Police party arrived,Dora was informed,she reached there within two and half hours.She asked many questions to Mrs.Shalini Desai and all the staff members.
Dora came to know that Rima Desai got hurt when the big almirah fell down on her leg at the age of five years,and broke her leg.On that day onwards she was on wheel chair.
If she can't walk even one step how she had gone ? was a big question.
Police asked hard to the manager and each staff and it became cleared that they were not responsible directly in it but of course because of reception staff's carelessness this happened.
Dora came to know that Mrs.Shalini Desai was a divorcee { not legally yet } her husband was giving money for mother and daughter's livelihood.
Dora asked medical report of Rima's leg injury.She and Rohan went to the hospital and came to know that injury was not so fatal.
Police party was on watch every place around,but failed to find her.Mrs.Shalini Desai left the hotel and now was with her husband.Dora decided to go and talk to both of them but when She Rohan and two policemen reached there they heard some unusual sounds.
They broke the door,there they found both the mother and the daughter.They were fighting and shouting.Police separated them.
Rima said," She was fit and fine and recovered from her leg injury long time ago but Mom forced her to sit on the wheel chair so that she could get money from her father for treatment and livelihood both.
It was found a domestic matter.Mr.Desai also arrived there and came to know the truth,but he accepted her wife.Police warned them.
