We can easily differentiate a daughter and a daughter-in-law if we visit as a guest to a family. A daughter, wearing a modern dress while a daughter-in -law is wearing a traditional salwar kameez and dupatta covering her head. The family says that's tradition, the daughter and the daughter-in-law are of same age, but the daughter ordering her bhabhi for a cup of tea or a glass of water or any work to do, and the daughter-in-law is simply obeying her, And the most wonderful thing is that when this daughter gets married and comes to meet her parents wearing modern dress, parents don't feel any thing wrong, and the daughter -in-law still wearing the saree or the salwar kameez with dupatta covering her head and always at the service of this family's daughter. And the daughter 's rights remain the same as they were before marriage .This is true that When invaders attacked and women started becoming the victim of their evil eye , the Parda system appeared, because if the news of kings defeat in battle field bound the queens and the courtiers wives to do fire bath ( Johar in which all the women used to jump in the fire together to meet death) then what not could be done to a woman belonged to a common family so this parda system was imposed,later many reformers tried hard to remove it from the society but we can see still it's existence in the interior parts of many states and also in high society families in the name of traditions but why For only daughter-in-laws.Now a days we see a drastic change in the society, dating is common in teenage children, break up and hook up continues System till the life time commitment partner not found. Without marriage living with a boyfriend in live in relationships ( Law also legalised this and if a child born with such relationship also become a legal successor) isn't it extreme thing in both the sides , Think about it !!
