Rishi Deerghtama’s son Kukshiwan was coming back home after many years of studies in Gurukul.It was a long way and it became dark soon,he was tired of walking.He was thinking to stay some where for night and searching a suitable place ,while he saw a temple.He entered in,No body was around he made his bed in the middle of the temple’s porch he was hungry and tired so slept without any tension relaxed.
It was morning,Birds started chirping ,cool wave of breeze was blowing,Kukshiwan was sleeping.

At the same time King Swanay was walking through that way with his people.King saw Kukshiwan sleeping in side,so he ordered his people to sit and he himself started waiting to wake him up.

So many people’s movement disturbed Kukshiwan’s sleep and he woke up.He was smart and handsom man looking intelligent.His face was glowing.

King Swanay was happy to see him.he wanted to marry his daughter with that smart young and intelligent man.He asked him his name.

“Kukshiwan”

Would you tell me your father’sname and your “gotr”{surname}

“I am Rishi Deerghtama’s son and my “Gotr”is”aangiras”I am going back home after completing my studies in gurukul.

I was tired so slept here last night.

King Swanay said,”If you don’t have any problem Please come to my Palace and give me a chance for hospitality.

Kukshiwan said,”I don’t have any problem but you can have “

King Swanay did not speak any thing but smiled.The king,Kukshiwan and Kings people were now going towards the palace.

After some time when they reached Palace,Now Kukshiwan could understand that
he is in a palace and came here with the king.

After bath Kukshiwan was brought to the dining room.Swanay indicated towards a beautiful girl who was serving ,he said ,”She is my daughter I want your consent for marriage.Would you like to marry her.

Kukshiwan was surprised,could not believe,so could not utter a single word.

King asked,” Please say something “

But then he said,”I am one among yoor people ,I can’t disobey you.Kukshiwan got married to King Swanay’s daughter.While going back home,King Swanay gave him,nine more daughters,10 horse carts full of cloths,ornaments and 2000 kg gold.When he reached home,his father became very very happy,blessed him and his ten wives.
