In King Hirannyaksh’s family there
was a king.His name was Ruru.Ruru had a son named Durgamasur.To win Humans and
GODS he did hard prayers for years on the mountain.Lord Bramha became happy.
He appeared and said,”King of Demons Duragamasur
I am happy with your hard prayers,You will get its prize.”
Durgamasur was also very happy seeing
Bramha jee there.He said if you are happy then Give me knowledge of all Vedas
,no body else could get this knowledge.
Bramha jee got shocked hearing
this,”What are you asking ?Knowledge of Vedas is important for Priests and
GODS.You are a King You should think of increasing boundaries and become a
“Samrat”,You should ask Property Money Gold.What would you do with the
Knowledge of Vedas.”
Durgamasur was very clever.He knew
that GODS are away from old age and death because of studies of Vedas,they can
get devine arms,and Bramha,Vishnu,Mahesh also favour them because of knowledge
of Vedas,and so they win all wars ,while they are not stronger than we Demons.I
want to win every body so I am asking knowledge of Veda.I thought you will do
justice and will be transparent but now I am feeling you are not going to
fulfil my wish.
Bramha asked,”I did not tell any
thing like that why have you thought like that.”
Durgamasur said,”You promised me to
fulfil any wish asked by me,so why don’t you give me knowledge of Veda”
“Tathaastu”{O.K.} said Brmha jee and
vanished.
Complete knowledge of Vedas came to
Durgamasur.So ill literature’s darkness spread all over.Good works
stopped.Priests{Rishi Muni}stopped doing hard prayes{Yagya-Tap}Bad thoughts
spread all over.The earth and and the heaven was affected by all these bad
deeds.
GODS’ intelligence Brilliance
finished.For Durgamasur it was a golden chance,he attacked Heaven and won.He
won the Earth,and nothing could be done without his will.
Clouds stopped raining,All the
rivers,streams,wells,ponds were dried.All crops of the fields were dried.GODS
and humans could not find any way to get
rid of the situation.
GOD’S Priest {Brahaspati }suddenly
thought something.He said,”Knowledge of Vedas is being locked in Durgamasur’s
custody ,so collect all your strength,this
only can set you free from this problem.”
All GODS and humans worshipped soul
power.The power appeared ,she said,”All of you go back home,I will fight with
Duragamasur and bring back knowledge of Vedas.
All GODS and Humans this strength was Maheshwari,she had have bows and arrows in her hands,she called Duragamasur,Duragamasur had have one “Akshauni”army,but Maheshwari,finished it by turned herself into many.When
his army finished,Durgamasur got worried.He came now in the battlefield riding a horse cart being pulled by four horses.It was a big fight between Durgamasur and Maheshwari.All the demons were wearing red clothes and red bits garlands which could stop Maheshwari’s weapons till the Sunset,but after Sunset Durgamasur could not protect himself,Maheshwari shot fifteen arrows together and damaged four horses,and the cart with the flag.Duragamasur’s chest and hands were pricked by arrows,blood was coming out from his body,he fell down and died.Just after his death,the knowledge came out.All the GODS and humans prayed to Goddess Maheshwari,she became happy,she said,”I am your own strength,you could not know about it before,but now you know it.When ever you get trapped in any problem,you believe your own strength,you will win.After saying this ,she vanished within GODS and Humans existence .
