Once Krishnadev Rai was watching Lord Krishna’s birthday Ceremony in his personal Hall and nobody was allowed there to come.two guards were appointed there to stop any body coming there.When Tenaliram came to know this he said to the guards,”The King himself invited me to meet,he wants to give me reward.’every body knew that Tenaliram used to get bags full of gold from the king,so they asked,”What would we get for this? Tenali Ram said 50% of whatever I receive will be yours.He then allowed to go in.He picked up a stick and started to beat the artists who were acting in the show.King got angry asked the guards to catch Tenaliram and Whip him 100 times.As guard caught him,Tenaliram said,”Stop ! I have two shareholders.The King looked at him with surprise ,Tenaliram described about the guards who asked bribe,the were brought inside,punished and dismissed ,Tenaliram again got a bag full of gold.
