Stephen was sitting and watching c.c.t.v. footage .He was security officer in that biggest mall named Fantasy and his duty was to keep keen eye on screen of eight monitors together covering the eight main sections of the mall where shop lifting was mostly expected .The Mall belongs to a rich man of the town.He already had told if any person found doing shop lifting should be stopped at the gate because an alarm was also programmed there which start beeping while some thing going out without bill at that time Stephen’s duty was to stop the person,he may be young or old male or female or a child ,and then to search his or her bags & take out the things without bill.This was very embarrassing situation for the person ,because at the same time many customers used to come in or go out of the mall and among them there may be any who knows him or her.Some times the alarm beeped & nothing found in the bags and Stephen had to say sorry again and again,as the person used to start blaming him for their insult in high pitch at that time Stephen used to feel embarrassment .He decided to watch very carefully and would never stop anybody without any solid proof and video footage.There was an interesting story he had have behind this.
He was just five years old and living in neither a big nor a small town ,it was a middle status town in reference of population and development .His father was running a grocery shop.He used to work in shop all day long and back home late evening with a bag full of notes and coins ,his Mom and Dad used to count that money on their bed and then keep it in a box.Stephen felt attracted towards coins,He knew very well the importance of coins,he knew any thing could be bought if you have coins in your pocket,just like John’s ball, Ron’s top, Silvia’s pencil box or lots of chocolates which he liked most.His Mom already was giving him a coin as every day’s pocket money,but He wanted more so he slowly moved forward his small hand picked up a small coin quickly kept it in his pocket and ran out,he bought chocolate,each time he stole one small coin.But just after one week,Mom started giving him two coins as pocket money,and they were more than enough,he stopped stealing.
When he grew young,One day on Holiday the family was just sitting and joking and had have a fun time.Mom said,”I knew about your stealing from the very first day but I let you do it for one week,and then increased your pocket money and you stopped stealing.Stephen’s eyes and mouth opened wide because he also remembered his stealing.Mom said,”A person steals when he feels lacking of some thing”
A rich lady was standing in front of Stephen,he had watched her stealing a costly watch ,the alarm beeped ,he stopped her,the watch was found in her hidden pocket.What was that——–Kleptomania—A Psychological Disorder.
